As a co-founder of NEPA-VMA and the incorporator, I am very happy that this relationship has not changed because the 1st Lt Michael J. Cleary Fund is more that a friend to “NEPA VMA” it is a part of its infrastructure. Without it and the work of non-veterans like myself – who was named a domestic warrior by the original board members of NEPA-VMA, the organization would not exist. The research and downward trends in programming and resources support the importance of all hands on deck to help our veterans, including civilians like myself who did not think it robbery to travel 300 miles every month to help get the organization off the ground and on the books. All the best to Jack Cleary and his family and their continued commitment. Now that I was not discouraged, but motivated to continue the much needed work to improve the broken infrastructure here at home for our returning heroes and building bridges to bring everyone together to achieve that goal from addressing the increased number of business failures with veteran entrepreneurs and the high veteran unemployment. We are not only getting vets off the streets, but helping to keep them in their homes…something the government has failed to do. So, for those who do not know the history of NEPA-VMA it was started as a collaboration to bring everyone together to fill in the many gaps for our vets. Maybe one day it will return to its true mission and grow even more. I am content with my role and the documents support it,
